As a telecom engineer for a U.S. major network operator, Wayne Smith witnessed history-in-the making as wireless service became available. He paid close attention to the evolving infrastructure demands of the marketplace, as well as the lack of talent or dedication to deliver quality execution of the associated construction projects.
In 2003, Smith gathered his resources to start his own company to address this area of opportunity. He named it Vertex for the pinnacle of knowledge, a goal that Smith himself pushes himself to reach for. "Innovations" was added because he believes strongly in avoiding complacency and the investment of reinvention and improvement. That belief has been the primary catalyst of change within the telecommunications industry, and it is the launch pad of the future of wireless.
Today, Vertex Innovations has team members nationwide, working on projects from coast to coast as well as within our home office, based in Littleton, Colorado. To review personnel bios, click on the names below each headshot.
