TECHNOLOGY  
Vertex has worked directly with many types of new and emerging technologies. We were instrumental in the roll-out of the point-to-point microwave and point-to-multi-point microwave architectures. Vertex also worked with the competitive local exchange carrier as the local number portability process was developed, and implemented some of the first integrated voice and data T-1s in the Denver market.

Through the Internet boom, Vertex was involved in the DSL integration into the regional bell operating companies (RBOC) infrastructure in nearly every U.S. market. When the Ethernet local exchange carrier (ELEC) emerged to offer high quality, affordable bandwidth to businesses, Vertex provided inside and outside plant fiber solutions lighting building after building with high speed bandwidth. We have also worked on other new fixed wireless and cellular infrastructure technology roll-outs such as EVDO and IPBH and managed complex integration projects that involved 5ESS and DMS switches.

Whether the next big technology will be WiMAX, 4G -LTE, GRPS, or FiOS, Vertex Innovations will be there to provide guidance and implement solutions for our clients as we have in the past.
