Power
Power is one of the most important components of any network architecture. Vertex Innovations has worked on a wide range of power projects, including both AC electrical and DC power applications on live network and greenfield installs. We have completed installs that included two 10,000 amp power plants in a N+1 configuration with 28 BDFB's in the co-location datacenter application for a major U.S. provider. On the AC electrical side, Vertex has  upgraded existing facilities and installed 208V and 480V systems, successfully avoiding  any network downtime.

Smaller projects have included supervising the installation and upgrade of PDFs in various applications including fiber pop sites, microwave hub sites and mobile cell sites. Vertex has also completed numerous projects for standby or emergency power sources such as generator upgrades and new installations, both which require very detailed and exact work in order to ensure that the network is not compromised.
