To help you get there, Vertex Innovations offers you over 20 years of combined experience in placing jobs throughout the telecommunications industry. Here’s an overview of the placement process, including the services and support Vertex can offer you in the effort.

  • Understanding Your Goals
However we can be of assistance, Vertex Innovations wants to help you realize your career goals. But there’s only so much we can do if you haven’t clearly defined what those career goals are. Unlike most staffing recruiters who are only interested in placing their clientele, Vertex’s recruiters take the time to understand your skills and career objectives. By learning what kind of job you’re looking for we can avoid calling you about irrelevant or unwanted career opportunities.

  • Placing You in the Right Opportunity
Creating a strong resume is the first step towards placing you in the job you desire. However, as you might have found with most staffing services, if your resume doesn’t match an open position’s job description, your name might very well be overlooked. Everyday, Vertex’s talented staff reviews the abundant opportunities available within the telecommunications industry. Then we draw on our decades of shared experience in the field and work to identify those select positions that could be just right for you.

  • Assisting Your Transition to Your New Role
After Vertex Innovations has found the career opportunity you’ve been looking for, our work doesn’t end.  If anything, that’s when our work really starts. We draw on our experience in finding positions within our clientele’s organizations, and then prepare you for what to expect during your interview process.

  • Success Awaits You
At Vertex Innovations, we empower our employees by giving them the tools and direction able to produce success. When you first arrive at our client’s location, our Operations department will connect you with appropriate personnel to ensure that your employment gets off to a great start.

  • Vertex innovations Long Term Career Opportunities
Even after you begin your new job, Vertex Innovations will check in to make sure that you’re both enjoying your new work and finding it fulfilling. We will also contact your new employer and see what we can learn to help you achieve long-term employment. If your employment proves to be beneficial for all parties involved, your employer may offer you a “contract to hire” position. However, if the arrangement does not work as planned, Vertex Innovations will search for other career opportunities on your behalf and market your skill set to another employer.

More than finding open positions within the telecommunications industry, our ultimate goal is to place you in the job that will advance your career and help you maximize your potential. That effort begins by working with you to produce the best resume possible. Then practicing winning interview strategies to help carry your name through the application process. By working together to refine, polish and prepare for ultimate success, it becomes that much easier to realize it. This is our commitment to you in action. Together, this is how we will move forward.

Resume Tips:

The first step to securing the job you desire is producing a strong resume. Here are some quick tips to help you do just that.

  1. Gear your resume towards the job you are applying for. Employers appreciate it when you take the time to present your skills and accomplishments as a close match for their stated requirements.
  2. Emphasize the technical skills and experience that are relevant to the position in question.
  3. Focus on keywords that can support your resume. Keep in mind that your resume may go through an electronic scan before actually reaching a recruiter. Designating keywords and then repeating them throughout the text will help your resume stand out.
  4. Be sure to highlight your most important responsibilities and quantify them as much as possible. An example might be how many people you managed, the size and scale of the budget you administered or how much money your efforts were able to save the company.
  5. First impressions matter! Proofread your resume carefully for spelling and grammatical errors. Do not rely on software tools for spell check or grammar checks.

Interview Tips:

When you advance to the interview phase of the process you’ll know that your resume helped you stand out from the pack. But that’s not a guarantee that you’ll get the job. To make a winning impression, just follow these simple tips as you prepare for your interview:

  1. Plan ahead. Print several copies of your resume; make sure you have accurate directions to the office; bring several pens and double-check your appointment time. Be sure to turn off your cell phone before beginning your conversation.
  2. Be sure to dress appropriately for the interview. When in doubt, a clean pressed suit and tie will surely impress your interviewer.
  3. Research the company, the position and the people who will be interviewing you. A working knowledge of the company will only help make you a more memorable candidate for the job.
  4. Practice your interview. Ask a friend or family member to role-play with you.
  5. Be Positive! Don’t make negative comments about past employers but do make positive comments about the opportunity at hand.
  6. Have enthusiasm about the interview and be sure to maintain eye contact with the hiring manager. Stay energized throughout the interview process.
  7. Towards the conclusion of the interview, you may be asked, “Do you have any questions for me?” All too often, prospective employees don’t have a response. We encourage you to prepare a few pertinent questions. This will allow you to expand upon your experience, skills and qualities. A few sample questions are below:
    1. Are there opportunities for advancement?
    2. What kind of training programs do you offer?
    3. Can you please explain what my daily routine would be like?
    4. What makes a successful employee at this organization?
    5. What are some of the objectives you would like to see accomplished in this job?
    6. What are you most hoping to find in the person you hire?
  8. At the conclusion of the interview, don’t forget to shake the hand(s) of the interviewer(s) and thank them for their time.

The application is the next step in the employment process.  It is completed after your qualifications outlined on your resume have been evaluated and you are being considered for a specific position.  The application covers things that might not be included in your resume.

You will be paid for holidays immediately.  Vacation and sick leave begin accruing after your 90 day probationary period is complete.

Your Health Care benefits begins the first of the month following the successful completion of your 90 day probationary period
